Benjamin Sessions
Co-Founder and General Contractor
Benjamin Sessions is a General Contractor & Property Advisor for Texas Signature Design & Build, where he supports clients through the operational side of real estate, development, and construction projects. He brings extensive real estate experience in buy/sell agreements, investment purchases and sales, transaction analysis, project feasibility, and deal coordination. His role includes helping manage project scope, contracts, permitting, budgeting, insurance coordination, tax-related documentation, consultant communication, and the overall execution process from early planning through completion.Benjamin’s background spans residential new construction, remodels, multifamily, industrial, and retail development. He has managed permitting, planning, and project execution with agencies and utility providers including TXDOT, Walker County, the State of Texas, Entergy, and local municipalities. He is known for helping clients define clear scopes of work, maintain disciplined budgets, organize project documentation, and reduce surprises during construction.In addition to his private-sector development and construction experience, Benjamin has served in civic planning roles including the Huntsville, Texas Planning Commission, the Fort Lauderdale, Florida Civic Planning Board, and the Salt Lake City, Utah Planning Board. Ricardo Rodriguez

Rico Rodriguez is a general contractor, property advisor, and licensed Texas real estate broker with Texas Signature Design & Build, helping clients evaluate, acquire, develop, and execute real estate and construction related opportunities. He focuses on managing construction projects on the ground, with specialized experience in electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage wiring.A Sam Houston State University alumnus, Rico has facilitated more than $170 million in property sales and brings a builder’s perspective to every transaction. His real estate background includes commercial and investment property sales, land acquisition, development strategy, project feasibility, and deal coordination.Rico’s greatest value is his ability to bridge the gap between the purchase decision and the build reality. He helps clients evaluate opportunities through the lens of site feasibility, budgeting, permitting, scheduling, construction scope, utility requirements, and execution risk. He has led the purchase, development, and buildout of a coworking office complex, as well as in-town residential projects and neighborhood development in Texas, guiding projects from raw land to completed, market-ready assets.His construction focus includes commercial, industrial, and residential projects, with strong attention to MEP systems, especially electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage infrastructure. He supports design-to-build projects from planning through completion, coordinating field execution, schedules, and budgets to keep projects moving efficiently.With hands-on experience working with municipalities, Gerardo helps guide projects through approvals, inspections, and compliance—bridging the gap between design intent and build realities. He has contributed to the successful delivery of residential projects by aligning trades, tracking progress, resolving jobsite issues quickly, and maintaining clear communication between clients, designers, and crews.Known for his practical, solutions-driven approach, Gerardo brings a technology-minded perspective to residential construction—especially where modern home systems, energy efficiency, and solar integration are key priorities.

Alma Alvarez specializes in permitting, construction support, contract coordination, paperwork, documentation, and project reporting for Texas Signature Design & Build. She helps keep projects organized by supporting the administrative and operational details that move work from planning to execution.A proud Preschool Education graduate and former lead classroom teacher with nine years of experience, Alma brings a strong people-centered foundation to project management, operations, and construction administration. Her background in education developed her ability to communicate clearly, coordinate with different personalities, stay organized under pressure, and manage structured processes with patience and professionalism.Since joining Texas Signature Design & Build in 2024, Alma has supported the general contractor and project team through permitting assistance, contract organization, documentation management, reporting, and administrative follow-through. Her responsibilities include helping gather, organize, and track documents required for permits, contracts, workforce coordination, vendor records, internal reports, and project compliance.She also assists with jobsite visits, progress documentation, accounting support, vendor coordination, human resources, and sales follow-up.
